The mass exodus in South Florida is well underway as Hurricane Irma is barreling towards the state. And where will she touch down? Right at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Anybody at the WH want to talk climate change? They will have a small crowd.Staff at the EPA has shrunk to an all- time low. But back to the other storm -- this administration. Donald Trump once again bypassed members of his own party on Wednesday and reached an agreement with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to increase the debt limit and finance the government until mid-December. Let this be another reminder to Republicans that they did not win the election -- Donald Trump did. Feeling great again yet? Yeah, well, neither are Dems who feel this deal strips away any leverage they had on pushing Congress to act on DACA. Who was there to witness it all? First Daughter, and apparently, interloper Ivanka Trump. According to reports, the GOPers in the room were visibly irritated by her presence. Of course, House Majority Leader Paul Ryan (R-WI) says nuh-uh. He’s having dinner with Trump tonight. Meanwhile, Don Jr. heads to the Hill today for a closed-door interview with the Senate Judiciary Committee about his controversial meeting with a Russian lawyer last year. In 22 years, when Kanyebecomes president, and Kim tours disaster areas in stilettos, and little North Westwalks into Oval Office meetings, and Saint West is testifying on the Hill, and little TBD baby no. 3 is ignored, can somebody remind us to do a #ThrowbackThursday post on this very moment?
