Women’s Media Center Honors María Hinojosa, April Ryan, María Elena Salinas, and Hidden Figures

The Women’s Media Center (WMC), a progressive, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to raise the visibility, viability and decision-making power of women and girls in media, announced that it would recognize María Hinojosa, April Ryan,María Elena Salinas, and Gail Tifford, along with the film Hidden Figures. The Women's Media Awards 2017 will be held on Thursday, October 26th in NYC. MSNBC analyst Maya L. Harris, a Senior Policy Advisor to the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and former board co-chair of the WMC, will host this event. She’s also the sister of Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA). More here.
