Cortez Masto Intros Code Like a Girl Act
Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) joined forces and introduced the Code Like a Girl Act, legislation that will create two National Science Foundation grant programs to encourage young girls to pursue STEM studies. “The idea that science, tech, engineering or math are gendered is patently false,” said Cortez Masto. “We must continue to support young women and remind them there is no limit to their potential and that careers and interests are not determined by gender."
