Latino Victory Fund Names New Board Directors and Committee Members
The Latino Victory Fund has announced its new Board of Directors and National Committee, which will guide the organization through the 2018 election cycle. Among them is NY political consultant Luis A. Miranda, Jr. A former advisor and administrator under three NYC mayors, Miranda brings nearly four decades of leadership experience in the public and private sectors. Miranda is a founding partner of the MirRam Group, a political consulting firm that played a key role in the successful Senate campaigns ofHillary Clinton, Charles Schumer (D-NY), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). He is also the father of Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda. Millennial philanthropist Kyle Ferari was also elected to serve on the board for the first time. Based in San Antonio, TX, Ferari is deeply passionate about social justice, minority representation, and LGBTQ rights. He is married to Henry Muñoz, the Finance Chair for the DNC. New members of the National Committee include political commentator and author Julissa Arce, actress and activistAna Ortiz, California political operative Cecilia Cabello, and prominent attorney Regina Montoya.
