Tom Pérez to Teach at Brown University

DNC Chair Tom Pérez will join Brown University as a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. The 1983 Brown graduate will work with students, faculty, and others, sharing insight and knowledge gained from the years he served as a member of President Obama’s administration as well as his time spent as a local organizer. Pérez will lead a study group called “Governance and Leadership in Challenging Times,” and featured speakers include Denis McDonough, Obama’s former chief of staff; Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo; and former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, among others. Pérez will personally pay for his travel expenses to the Rhode Island campus from DC, where he’ll remain DNC chair. More here.
