Cory Booker Launches a Podcast

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) has launched a podcast called Lift Every Voice, that will be dedicated to shining a light on overlooked issues of injustice and inequality and sharing inspiring stories of change. Podcast episodes will include Booker talking with grassroots activists, stakeholders, and organizers who are overcoming injustices and making a positive change in their communities. “I hope this podcast will elevate their voices and shine light on important issues of righteousness and compassion that will inspire others to action,” Booker said. Future episodes will include discussions about the criminal justice system, environmental inequality, economic fairness, and the future of work, among other topics. The podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The first episode launched on Monday on what would have been Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 89th birthday, and features a conversation with Congressman John Lewis (D-GA). Check it out here.
