Indian Health Service Nominee Withdraws
Robert Weaver, whom Donald Trump had named as his nominee to serve as the Director of the Indian Health Service (IHS), has withdrawn his name from consideration after the WSJ reported he had exaggerated his résumé. This, once again, leaves the IHS, which is responsible for providing federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives, without a Director.
