Conceal and Carry Guns, Then Conceal and Carry Weed

Yesterday, we told you about the House passing legislation allowing those with permits for concealed weapons to legally travel with those firearms across state lines -- a top priority of the NRA. Well, Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) says the same should be true then for marijuana. “Let’s think of this logically: If one state allows the legalization of marijuana, does that mean every state needs to allow the legalization of marijuana?” Khanna asked on Wednesday. “I have always thought that the Republicans are the ones who defend federalism, defend states’ abilities to make laws that they think are going to be best for their people.” See Khanna’s remarks here.
