Univisión Names Director of Government Affairs

René Muñoz has joined Univisión as Director of Government Affairs. He was most recently a staffer on the House Committee on Homeland Security, Border and Maritime Security Subcommittee. He has held a number of additional positions in government, including head of Legislative Affairs for the Census Bureau during the Obama administration, and Chief of Staff to Congressman Pete Gallego (D-TX). The New Mexico State University grad is fluent in both Spanish and English and will be based in DC. Congrats, René! More about him here.
