After Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA)announced that she would run for re-election, Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) told Politico that it is time for California to move on and elect someone who would better represent the progressive, grassroots movement. Khanna said he had contacted Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich to encourage them to challenge Feinstein in 2018.
