Georgetown Names 2018 Spring Fellows
The Institute of Politics and Public Service at Georgetown's McCourt School of Public Policy announced their 2018 Spring Fellows. Among them is Nadeam Elshami, former Chief of Staff to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and now EVP at Signal Group. Also named is WaPo Political Reporter Eugene Scott. The Fellows Program connects students with political leaders to learn from one another and tackle some of the biggest political challenges of the day. Each semester, five of the top names in politics, government, and media serve as regular Fellows, leading a weekly non-credit discussion group on a hot topic, holding office hours for students, and speaking to a variety of campus groups. Elshami and Scott will be joined by Dorothy McAuliffe, First Lady of Virginia; Steven Law, President and CEO of the Senate Leadership Fund, American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS; Katie Walsh Shields, former Trump White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor and former Chief of Staff at the RNC.
